Job Duties:
- Plan, schedule, and optimize maintenance work.
- Create and manage schedules for all types of maintenance (preventative, predictive and reactive) for equipment and the facilities to ensure equipment reliability and efficient operations.
- Ensure necessary parts, materials, tools and manpower are available and allocated for maintenance tasks by coordinating with all stakeholders.
- Responsible for procurement of maintenance materials and equipment and responsible for the monitoring/maintaining of maintenance inventory.
- Ensure safety procedures are adhered to when scheduling tasks and that all appropriate permits and safety equipment are available.
- Manage and develop work orders, documentation and assets within the computerized maintenance management system.
- Administrator and coordinator of the plant maintenance software
- Assist with project and shutdown planning and scheduling.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of maintenance processes, procedures and the overall work management system
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience within a maintenance department & with maintenance software is considered an asset.
- Participate in all required Health and Safety, GMP and SQF training.
- Subject to a clear criminal records check.
