Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze current processes and procedures and develop enhancement strategies

• Lead and facilitate all continuous improvement activities in the factory

• Assist in the development of a best-in class continuous improvement strategy

• Introduce and use tools such as Lean and six sigma to drive improvements

• Support the delivery of optimum safety, quality and efficiency through the identification and elimination of inefficiency in business processes

• Assist in the development of competencies of all supervision and staff to align with company goals

• Training, mentoring and guiding team members in new processes and procedures

FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in Training as needed

• Follow GMP Practices

SKILLS REQUIRED (INCLUDE EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND PROFICIENCY):

• Extensive experience in a food manufacturing environment

• 5 years experience working with Lean and six sigma processes required

• Six sigma Green or Black belt preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Food Science or equivalent manufacturing experience required

• Minimum 5 Years in a management or supervisory role

• Excellent team building and communication skills

• Experience in change management preferred

• Strong Collaboration skills to work with various departments and levels of the company.
